The Worshipful Company of Tax Advisers is a Livery Company of the City of London.

The Company's primary aims are:

• to promote the profession of Tax Adviser within the City of London,
• to support the Lord Mayor and the Corporation of London,
• to support charitable activities, both in terms of support for needy Tax Advisers and their families, and more widely,
• to promote fellowship among Tax Advisers.

For example, we:

• prepare briefings for the Lord Mayor's overseas visits: he spends up to a third of his time travelling overseas, with the status of cabinet minister, and we brief him on tax matters to assist his discussions with overseas business people, regulators, officials and Government ministers;
• manage the Tax Advisers' Benevolent Fund, assisting tax advisers and their dependants who fall on hard times;
• arrange meetings, lunches, dinners and less formal social occasions.
