Declaration

By answering "yes" below, and then submitting this application form, I hereby apply for Admission to the International Freedom of the Worshipful Company of Tax Advisers of the City of London and agree to be bound by the declaration of Freedom and Ordinances of the Company. I confirm that to the best of my knowledge and belief, the details above are correct and that there is nothing known to me now or in the past that would render me unsuitable for membership of the Company, or is likely, if it became public knowledge, to cause embarrassment to the said Company. Further, I have not been convicted of any criminal offence, nor have I ever been declared to be insolvent in any jurisdiction.

This declaration is a true statement of facts.

UK Data Protection Act  All data is securely stored in the Company's Database (held by the Clerk, Administrator and Webmaster) and in databases under the control of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (acting as the Company's agent). All data will be treated confidentially and with sensitivity for the benefit of the Worshipful Company of Tax Advisers and its members. The data is available to the Company's Court and Officers in connection with their duties under the Constitution and Ordinances. It will also be used to produce an annual list of members, which is circulated to all Freemen each year listing Liverymen, Freemen and Companions, listing full names, contact address, telephone and e-mail address. It is also shared with the City of London Corporation and their agents for the purposes of compiling the electoral lists of Liverymen, and in publishing the City of London and Livery Companies Guide. The Company is exempt from Notification under the Data Protection Act 1998; however the other provisions of the Act will still apply. Therefore, under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998, you have a right to object to the use of your data for any of the above purposes. Any objection should be notified to the Clerk to the Company.
