RAF 101 Squadron: Refuelling Flight 26 May 2026

41 attendees arrived bright and early for the day’s events. 

The flight went from RAF Brize Norton and refuelled RAF Typhoon FGR2 fighter jets in perfect weather off the coast of Norfolk before continuing up to the Scottish coast where further jets were refuelled. The RAF Typhoons were from RAF Conningsby and Lossiemouth.  The flight was 5.5 hours in duration.

Attendees were allowed onto the flight deck, and RAF personnel were on hand to explain the intricacies of air to air refuelling. 

Following the flight, we were given a briefing in the 101/10 Sqn building which covered current taskings and the year ahead.
