A huge thanks to those of you who responded to our request to donate your time. At least three members of the Company and one consort, including Upper Warden Howard Ashmore, Liveryman Dee Shah and Freeman Nicola Goldsmith, gave up their Sunday morning to steward the Multiple Sclerosis (MS)-UK Tower 42 climb on 4th October.
Around 40 people, many of whom suffer from MS, were truly inspirational as they did the Tower 42 climb of 932 steps up to the 42nd floor. Two of the MS sufferers managed to do the climb six times!!
With gift-aid MS-UK raised over £18,500 with more still coming through. These are all valuable funds as MS-UK doesn’t get any government or sponsorship funding. So once again a big thanks to Company members and consorts who donated their time.
