The Worshipful Company of Tax Advisers

CITY OF LONDON

Founded 1995 & Incorporated by Royal Charter 2009

The Daniels display cabinet at the Chartered Institute of Taxation in Monck Street, given in honour of former institute president Keith Daniels was first unveiled in June 2011 with a display from the bequest of John Jeffrey-Cook showcasing Tax Through the Ages. The display was refreshed in December 2014 by Court Assistant Morag Loader and Liveryman James Dixon.

The latest display is entitled War and Peace. The left hand side of the cabinet represents War and shows artefacts from the First World War. The First World War exhibits are the Company's contribution to the centenary of The Great War. The right hand side of the cabinet represents Peace and alludes to peacetime activities such as trade, household affairs, leisure activities and the activities of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Do take a look next time you are in Monck Street.
